| Everybody wants to lose weight these
days. There are twenty million different weight loss plans, pills,
programs and so on, and so forth. There are so many methods, modes,
and means to lose weight it's mind boggeling at times. So many
people try so hard to lose weight and get know results.
Then there are the people who make the rest of us ill with
how easily they can shed the fat, usually without even trying.
Then there are those of us that suffer from the teter totor
effect. We,(I speak from experience) go back and forth with
our weight so bad and so often, you would think we have wardrobes
for three different people in our closets. I only recently discovered
there's a technical term for what keeps happening, at least
to me, I've hit a weight loss plateau.
What the heck is a weight loss plateau? From what I understand,
a weight loss plateau is when your body senses a famine and
slows your metabolism down. Which means a weight loss plateau
is a dietary catch 22. In essence your body senses a shortage
of fuel or calories coming in ( which is you dieting ) so it
tries to save what fuel or fat reserves you have and you hit
a stalemate. So to beat a weight loss plateau you need to increase
your metabolism rate. In other words to beat a weight loss plateau
you have to increase your activity level. Which means to beat
a weight loss plateau you have to increase the amount of exercise
your already doing. If your not already exercising and just
dieting, then you need to start. To beat your weight loss plateau
it doesnt have to be a drastic exercise program, you simply
have to get your blood pumping a bit mor and a tad longer than
you usually do and beat that weight loss plateau.
